Two objects
Two objects travel with the car. Neither of them is equipment. Neither of them appears in the technical file. The production has agreed to describe only one.
R-01OBJ R-01 // HELMET
MASS 1.31 kg // CERT RE-ISSUED
INTERIOR: REPLACED x2
OWNER FIELD: NOT DRIVER
CLASSIFICATION: PERSONAL
The Helmet
It is not the right helmet. It is not the newest, not the lightest, not the one the safety delegate would have chosen. It is the one Ghost wears.
Matte, unmarked, older than the car by a decade. The interior padding has been replaced twice and the shell has been checked, re-certified and grudgingly signed off by a delegate who wrote a note about it in the file.
Ghost has never explained the helmet to a journalist. He explained it once, in writing, to the engineer, in a message that is quoted in the film and never shown on screen in full.
For the length of the run there are three people in a two-seat car, and only two of them are breathing.
Memory
Something that survived the person it belonged to.
Protection
The object whose only job is to keep a head intact.
Trust
Worn without being questioned, in a programme that questions everything.
Weight
Every gram of the past, carried at full speed and never declared.

The Second Relic
It travels in the front trunk. It is sealed before every session. Its mass is not entered in the technical file, and the two people who have seen it will not describe it.
The scans that exist are incomplete. The imaging returns a shape and then loses it — an artefact, the engineers say, of a container that was never meant to be imaged.
One diagnostic pass, run late and never repeated, returned a code fragment where it should have returned nothing. It compiles. It touches nothing. It carries a signature.
This version of the site will not show the object. That is a decision, not a gap.
The film does not answer what is in the front trunk in its first act, and this site will not answer it before the film does.
