The 555 dress code
Mandatory for the two people in the car. Driver and passenger wear the same three tones — grey, white or black — and nothing else. No other colour in the cabin, on either run, in either seat. Partner marks are carried by the car, never by the two.
Applications are read blind. No sponsors, no press, no personal connection to Ghost. The panel looks for one thing: someone who can describe, precisely and without decoration, why they want to be in that seat.
INTAKE // BLIND REVIEW
Cardiac screening, vestibular tolerance, neck and cervical load, medication review, informed-consent interview. A physician holds a veto that no one on the production can overrule.
MED // VETO ACTIVE
On foot, then at road speed. Surface, camber, run-off, marshal posts, the exact metre where the light changes at dawn. The volunteer walks the same line Ghost walked three hundred times.
TRACK // WALK + INSTALLATION LAP
Ghost drives the circuit with every assistance system disabled. No stability control, no regeneration mapping, no SHELL. A raw human baseline is recorded before the machine is allowed an opinion.
MODE // MANUAL — BASELINE
The same laps, with the on-board architecture observing. It does not steer. It maps trajectories, reaction latency, grip windows and the driver's hesitation signature, then models where the run could break.
MODE // OBSERVE — SPECTRE BUILD
First run. Ghost at the wheel, volunteer in the passenger seat, both in full safety equipment, medical and marshal cover in place. The reference time is set here — and it is the only number that matters for the rest of the day.
RUN 01 // REFERENCE TIME
One word, one switch, on the volunteer's side of the cabin. The run ends immediately, without argument, without negotiation, without penalty of any kind — except that the trial is over and they have lost it. The right to stop is absolute. Using it costs everything.
ABORT // UNCONDITIONAL
Seats are swapped. Same car, same tyre set, comparable track temperature, comparable wind, comparable surface. Both wear the 555 code — grey, white or black — so from the outside nobody watching can tell which of the two is driving. Ghost becomes the passenger, and gives up the only control he has ever trusted.
SWAP // CONDITIONS MATCHED
The volunteer drives the circuit against Ghost's reference time. SHELL//555 keeps observing. It has spent the morning learning one human being; now it is watching a second one try to be him.
RUN 02 // DELTA LIVE
Timing is published in full — sector by sector, with the raw telemetry attached. If the volunteer beats the reference, or if Ghost withdraws, one million euros is released in bitcoin.
RESULT // FULL DISCLOSURE
The winner receives something the production cannot value: access to an encrypted fragment, and to the claim attached to it. Ghost has never said the fragment is authentic. He has only ever said it is consistent.
FRAGMENT // UNVERIFIED
All speed sequences are fictional and take place on a closed circuit, under permit, with a medical team, engineers and competent authorities present. Nothing on this site is an invitation to reproduce any driving behaviour on public roads.
